Ah, the tough life of a Younger dog. After a busy week that included class (Phoebe), a vet check-up (me), getting caught in a huge thunderstorm while running with Mom (Phoebe), and begging for bratwurst from Dad (me), we're spending a lazy Sunday snoozing around the house. While I prefer the cushiness of a bed (either human or dog works fine), Phoebes prefers to lay on something hard and cold (linoleum, wood flooring) or to find a spot where she can be propped up against something (as in the photo below). Like I said, it's a tough life.

Any of you readers out there looking to adopt a sweet pup? This is Shuka, who is living with my teacher,
Jane, until she finds her forever home. I get to visit with Shuka when I have class at Jane's, but first Mom and Dad make me sit down and stop being a spaz. It's worth it to get the chance to play with such a cool pup. You can learn loads more about Shuka on
her blog. If you want to meet her, you can contact Jane at
jane3dog@yahoo.com. Holden and I would be thrilled if we could help her out!
